The Velmeir Companies’ predecessor was founded in 1968 and specialized in the residential real estate business. As the business evolved and development progressed, the company transitioned into the retail sector. The Velmeir Companies was founded in 1995. Carrying on traditions from the past with visions for the future, Steven Silk continued to grow the company until his passing in 2017, and his team is continuing his legacy of creating value in communities across the country.
